Beryl Gilothwest is a Brooklyn-based writer, art historian, and curator. He is Deputy Director of Research and Exhibitions at the Calder Foundation, and he serves on the steering committee of the Ossabaw Island Residency: A Project of ARTS Southeast. His projects have received support from the Henry Luce Foundation, the Teiger Foundation, and the VIA Art Fund. He holds a BA in Art History from Vassar College and is an MA candidate in Art History at Hunter College.
